R290 is a refrigerant according to the EC environmental guidelines.

an authorized authority certifying their expertise in the handling of refrigerants by a rating specification
recognized by the industry associations.
The repair work must be carried out according to the instructions of the manufacturer of the device. Repair and

maintenance operations that require the use of additional specialist personnel are to be carried out under the
supervision of a specialist who is responsible for the handling of flammable refrigerants.
The packaging materials can be recycled. Therefore it is recommended to dispose of them in
sorted waste.
