In Setup mode, pressing WIND/+ or PRESSURE/– selects the unit of measurement or scrolls through the value; holding
these buttons for 2 seconds increases/decreases the values in larger increments.
ALARM
Press: View thresholds for temperature, humidity, precipitation intensity, daily precipitation, wind speed.
MAX/MIN (Max/min values)
Press: View the maximum/minimum values of temperature, humidity, precipitation, wind, UV index, light, absolute pressure.
LIGHT/SNOOZE
Press: Adjust the LCD backlight brightness (high/medium/off).
Hold: Register a new transmitter.
The setup mode can be exited by pressing LIGHT/SNOOZE or after 30 seconds of inactivity.
ATTENTION! When turning on the power, pressing WIND/+ and PRESSURE/– resets all station memory
entries and returns the user settings to default values.
ATTENTION! With the power on, pressing TEMP (Temperature) skips radio signal reception.
Setup mode
Press and hold SET for 2 seconds to enter setup mode.
Basic settings are performed in the following order:
Button sound
Holding SET for 2 seconds selects the button sound section (the symbols in the ON/OFF section begin to flash).
Pressing WIND/+ or PRESSURE/– selects ON or OFF.
BEEP ON: Beeps every time you press.
BEEP OFF: Disables the button sounds.
Max/min daily values
Pressing SET twice selects the daily Max/Min section, flashing numbers ON/OFF.
Pressing WIND/+ or PRESSURE/– selects ON or OFF (default ON, reset at 0:00 every day).
Automatic switch to daylight saving time
If the data is uploaded to ecowitt.net, you can set the time zone and activate the automatic daylight saving time option.
On ecowitt.net, click the menu button => Devices => edit device icon => Device Properties => set time zone.
Pressure
Press SET 10 times to select the absolute/relative pressure unit (hPa, inHg, mmHg). Press SET 11 times to adjust
the relative pressure value.
To switch between absolute and relative pressure, hold PRESSURE/– for 2 seconds.
Press PRESSURE/– to view 12-, 24-, 48-, and 72-hour average pressure.
The pressure graph is displayed to the left of the barometric pressure and shows the difference between the daily average
pressure and the 30-day average pressure (in hPa).
To determine the relative pressure for your location, find an official weather station near you (the best real-time source is
weather.com or wunderground.com) and set your weather station to match the official station.
Light
Press SET 12 times to select the light unit: klx (kilolux), klm/ft² (kilolumen/ft²), W/m² (default: W/m²).
Temperature
Press SET 13 times to select the indoor/outdoor temperature unit (°C or °F; default: °C).
In normal mode, press TEMP (Temperature) to viewwind chill, heat index, dew point.
Hold TEMP (Temperature) for 5 seconds to register a new transmitter.
Every 60 seconds the device measures the temperature, humidity and pressure in the room. If the temperature is below
the minimum range or above the maximum range, the device displays "– –.–".
Wind speed
Press SET 14 times to select the wind speed units (km/h, mph, knots, m/s, Beaufort rating (bft); default: km/h).
In normal mode, press and release WIND/+ to view wind, gusts, and wind direction.
Precipitation
Press SET 15 times to select the precipitation unit (inches or mm; default: mm).
In normal mode, press and release RAIN to view intensity, event, daily, weekly, monthly and total precipitation.
Press RAIN for 2 seconds to reset current precipitation data.
The transmitter transmits data on wind speed, wind direction, and precipitation every 16 seconds.
