5 • radio code eNTry
It is possible to store 128 rolling code radio controlled operations plus 128 fixed code radio
controlled operations.
radio controlled storage for input seQ (sTarT)
• Hold down the p3 button until the dl8 LED starts flashing.
• Release the p3 button and activate the radio controlled operation to be memorised.
When the dl8 LED remains illuminated for about 1 second and then switches off, the radio
controlled operation is configured. If on the other hand LEDs dl7, dl8 and dl9 flash for
about 3 seconds then switch off, the operation has not been stored successfully due to
having reached the maximum number of radio controlled operations.
N.B. Immediately after the storage of a radio controlled operation, the receiver will remain
de-activated for about 3 seconds, in order to avoid unwanted operation of the gate after
the configuration itself. It is however possible to store a new radio controlled operation
immediately by repeating the procedures described above.
• radio controlled storage for input ch/p (pedesTriaN)
• Hold down the p3 button until the dl8 LED starts flashing; do not release the button, wait
for the flashing to increase in frequency.
• Release the p3 button and activate the radio controlled operation to be stored. When the
dl8 LED remains illuminated for about 1 second and then switches off, the radio controlled
operation has been configured. If on the other hand LEDs dl7, dl8 and dl9 flash for about
3 seconds then switch off, the operation has not been stored successfully due to having
reached the maximum number of radio controlled operations.
• N.B. Immediately after the storage of a radio controlled operation, the receiver will remain

• deleting a radio controlled operation
• Hold down the p3 button until the dl8 LED starts flashing; do not release the button, wait
for the flashing to increase in frequency; continue holding down the button and wait for a
further increase in frequency.
• Release the p3 button and activate the radio controlled operation to be cancelled. When
the LED dl8 switches off, the radio controlled operation has been cancelled.
complete deletion of all radio controlled operations
• Switch off the apparatus and switch it on again, holding down the p2 button. After a
few seconds, the dl10 LED will start flashing at very high frequency; continue to hold the
button down for about 5 seconds until the dl10 LED switches off. At this point, all the radio
controlled operations have been deleted from memory.
radio controlled storage for output WarNiNg lighT (9,10) (2nd radio channel)
The output WARNING LIGHT (9,10 clean contact) can function as gate movement signalling,
or as output activated for 1 second from pressing a radio controlled button stored in this
output (2nd channel).
To activate the output WarNiNg lighT as a 2nd radio channel: switch off power to the
circuit and switch it on again, holding down button p2. LED dl9 lights up and remains lit to
show that the function is active. Release button p2.
radio controlled storage for output WarNiNg lighT as a 2nd radio channel (9,10)
• Hold down the p2 button until the dl9 LED starts flashing. Release the p2 button and
activate the radio controlled operation to be stored. When the dl9 LED remains illuminated
for about 1 second then switches off, the radio controlled operation has been configured.
When the transmitter is pressed, the WarNiNg lighT contact is activated for 1 second,
losing the operation of the gate light. If on the other hand LEDs dl7, dl8 and dl9 flash for
about 3 seconds then switch off, the operation has not been stored successfully due to
having reached the maximum number of radio controlled operations.
• deleting a radio controlled operation for output WarNiNg lighT as a 2nd radio channel
(9,10)
• Hold down the p2 button until the dl9 LED starts flashing; do not release the button, wait
for the flashing to increase in frequency; continue holding down the button and wait for a
further increase in frequency.
• Release the p2 button and activate the radio controlled operation to be cancelled. When
the LED dl9 is no longer illuminated, the radio controlled operation has been cancelled. If
all transmitters are cancelled outputs 9 and 10 resume gate light operation.
To use output WarNiNg lighT as gate movement signalling, switch off the power supply
and switch it on again, holding down the p2 button until the dl9 LED stays switched on, the
LED stays switched off to indicate the function of output WarNiNg lighT.
6 • programmiNg aNd TesTiNg to be carried out after installation of all signalling
devices, and safety procedures stipulated by current legislation, with a view to reducing
possible risks.
preliminary checks:
• Switch on the power supply to the unit.
• Check that all the signalling LEDs with contacts normally closed N.C. are lit , if they are not
lit check the contacts and wires on installed devices, remember that if a contact which is
normally closed is not used it must be bridged. If none of the LEDs are lit check the power
supply, then check that the fuses are working and if necessary replace them with others
with the same capacity.
• Check that all the LEDs with contacts normally opened N.O. are switched off, if they are
not check the contacts on any connected control devices.
• If there is a wrong connection with the N.C. and N.O. contacts the dl8 LED flashes quickly
(check that the LEDs with N.C. contacts are lit, the stop mechanism is not in use, and the
LEDs with N.O. contacts are switched off)
• in the event of malfunction of photocell inputs or sensitive edge, the unit only functions
with someone present (functions until opeN for opening and cl/p for closing outputs
are used).
programmiNg:
Fast programming: adjusts the slowing down speed, but the opening phase (3 seconds)
remains set and the closing phase is calculated automatically.
N.B. The gate must be half position.
• To start programming the unit hold down the p1 button until dl7 LED starts to flash at high
frequency. If the sequence hasn't configured within 10 seconds, the dl7 LED switches off
and the attempt is cancelled.
• During the programming phase with the gate stationary or moving, a sTop action
or activating the p1 button or the photocell, will bring about an immediate end to the
programming procedure (the dl7 LED switches off and the attempt is cancelled).
• Carry out an initial start command with input seQ (sTarT) or press the radio controlled
button already stored in seQ M2 and then M1 start closing until the gate is completely
closed motor 1 starts opening.
• Carry out a second start command with input seQ (sTarT) or press the radio controlled
button already stored in seQ, so that the start point for slowing down when opening
for motor 1 is set. The gate then proceeds till the limit switch is activated or until the
mechanical stop.
• after 3 seconds motor 2 starts opening automatically.
• Carry out a third start command with input seQ (sTarT) or press the radio controlled
button already stored in seQ, so that the start point for slowing down when opening
for motor 2 is set. The gate then proceeds till the limit switch is activated or until the

seconds then remains switched off.
adjustments:
• Using trimmers Tr3 – Tr4 carry out the adjustment for the desired slowing down speed
of motor 1(TR3) and motor 2 (TR4).
• Using trimmers Tr1 (moTor 1) – Tr2 (moTor 2) carry out the correct adjustment of the
torque ensuring that the gate can be stopped during movement, at the points stipulated by
legislation; carry out the necessary measurements not exercising a force exceeding that
required by current legislation.
N.B. The force during impact is proportional to the speed of the motor (trimmer Tr3 Tr4,
higher speed = greater force of impact) and the reverse operation time is proportional to the
torque (trimmer Tr1 Tr2 greater torque = greater reverse operation time)
• Using trimmer Tr6 it is possible to carry out further adjustment of the speed of the motor
during the cycle. The longer the wing of the gate, the lower the speed to be set.
• If automatic closing is used (Dip 3 ON) adjust the duration of the pause time using trimmer
Tr5 (from 2 to 120 sec)
• To mark the slowing down, increase the cruising speed (TR6) and reduce the slowing
down speed (TR3-TR4).
• Instruct operational staff on the use of the relevant command automation, safety devices
and hazard arising from use of the automation. Complete the technical installation booklet
and adhere to any current legislation.
