I PRODUCT-SPECIFIC WARNINGS
· Do not touch any hot surfaces, use the handles.
· Do not move the appliance when in use or when still hot after
use.
· If you must move the appliance when still hot, always use
potholders or oven mitts to grip the appliance.
· Always clear the area around the appliance.
· Make sure the appliance is placed on a stable even surface that
is not sensitive to heat, i.e. not on a glass plate, painted table,
plastic tablecloth, etc. And ensure it is at least 20 cm from any
wall.
· Protect glass tables: a thermal or mechanical shock can cause
the table top to break.
· Make sure that the air can circulate freely around the
appliance.
· Avoid sudden abrupt movements near the device when in use
that might affect the stability of the appliance.
· Use only heat-resistant utensils to prepare food on the grill
plate.
· Never use metal utensils. These can damage the non-stick
coating of the grill plate.
· Do not use any sharp objects to remove any remains.
· Never leave the appliance switched on when the grill plate is
empty, except during the warm-up period.
· Always unplug the appliance and let it cool down completely
before cleaning and storing it.
· Before unplugging the appliance from the power, make sure
the thermostat is switched off (thermostat knob set to 'OFF').
· Do not use this appliance with charcoal or similar flammable
fuels.
· Never use this device as a heating element.
· Take care with the hot griddle, splashing grease and steam
escaping alongside the appliance to avoid injury, burns, or fire.
