BEFORE THE FIRST USE
·
Remove all packaging materials and any promotional stickers.
·
Clean the non-stick surface of the grill plate using a soft sponge with warm water and a mild
detergent. Then wipe with a cloth with clean warm water and dry well with a soft cloth.
·
Rinse the collection tray under running water and dry it.
·
Wipe the outside of the appliance clean with a soft cloth.
·
Make sure the grill plate, thermostat and all parts are completely dry before use.
·
Never submerge the appliance, the electric cord or the plug into water or another liquid.
·
Do not use chemicals, abrasives or steel wool to clean the non-stick plate or other parts of the
appliance.
·
When using the appliance for the first time there may be a slight smell and light smoke from the
baking plates. This is normal.
USE
Place the Plancha Grill on your counter or in the middle of the table. Make sure the appliance is stable on a
dry, flat surface and ensure there is adequate ventilation.

Insert the adjustable thermostat into the designated connector on the side of the grill plate.

Only use the appliance with the supplied thermostat.
·
Always connect the adjustable thermostat before plugging in the appliance and make sure the
thermostat knob is set to 'OFF'.
·
Always ensure that the adjustable thermostat and connector are completely dry before plugging
in the appliance.
2.
Place the grease collection tray in its housing.
3.
Put the mains plug in the wall socket.
4.
Turn the thermostat to the required position. The indicator lamp will turn on indicating that the grill
plate is heating up.
