VIDEODOOR ENTRY SYSTEM MONITOR
SYSTEM OPERATION
UNANSWERED CALLS
This Monitor has an automatic image capture record of unanswered calls. These
images can be photographs or videos, depending on your monitor settings. The
flashing of the
button indicates that you have received unanswered calls during
your absence. Once these images are displayed, the indicator stops flashing. See
the "MAIN MENU" section on page 31 to learn more about how to view images and
modify the options related to this function.
ABSENCE OF CALL. MONITOR ON STAND-BY
If the monitor does not receive a call, the door opening and communication with the
entrance panel functions are disabled. It is possible to activate the self-start system
and open the door, as long as there is no activated monitor (busy system).
RECEIVING CALLS. ACTIVATED MONITOR
When receiving a call from the entrance panel, the monitor will emit an audible
warning. The screen will light up, showing you the image of the person who made
the call. You will have a specific time to answer. This time will depend on the type of
entrance panel from which you received the call.
When you press the communication button, you will establish communication with
the person who has called. The maximum talk time you have will also depend on the
type of entrance panel from which you received the call.
A few seconds before the conversation time elapses, you will hear a series of beeps.
You can prolong the conversation time from your own dwelling by pressing the
conversation button twice, or, from the entrance panel, by having the visitor call
again. The conversation will end when the communication button is pressed once,
or when the conversation time runs out. The system will then revert to being on
standby.
Push the lock release button to open the door and allow the person access to the
property.
During the time periods for answering the call or for conversation, the system does
not permit any other monitor to use the auto switch-on function.
