Turning on or off the Wi-Fi
To turn the Wi-Fi on or off, press and hold Fridge for 10 seconds. The Wi-Fi (
turns on or off to display the Wi-Fi status.

• You must turn on the Wi-Fi to connect the refrigerator to the SmartThings app.

Activating or deactivating the Sabbath mode
The Sabbath mode stays active for 85 hours once it is activated. After that, it will be
deactivated automatically.
• To activate, press and hold Freezer for 10 seconds to enter Sabbath mode. Then the
refrigerator operates in Sabbath mode where the buttons, the display, and the room
lamps are all under control.
• To deactivate, press and hold the buttons again for 3 seconds to exit Sabbath mode.
NOTE
Even after the refrigerator powers off and restarts, the Sabbath mode remains active. To
exit, you must deactivate it first.
Activating or deactivating the Cooling Off mode
The Cooling Off mode (also called the Shop mode) is designed for retailers to display
refrigerators on a retail floor.
In the Cooling Off mode, the refrigerator's fan motor and lights operate normally, but the
compressors do not run, so neither the refrigerator nor the freezer becomes cold.
1. Press and hold Freezer and Fridge simultaneously for 7 seconds.
- First, all the indicators blink, and then six of the temperature indicators (-6 °F, -1 °F,
1 °F, 35 °F, 37 °F, 39 °F / -17 °C, -19 °C, -21 °C, 4 °C, 3 °C, 2 °C) blink.
2. While six of the temperature indicators are blinking, press Freezer again to activate or
deactivate the Cooling Off mode.
- When the Cooling Off mode activates, the refrigerator chimes and the temperature
indicators will light up sequentially from bottom to top.
- When the Cooling Off mode deactivates, the temperature indicator returns to normal.
