Thefollowingitemsare packagedloosein thecarton:

REMOVING THE UNIT FROM THE CARTON
1. Cut the cornersof thecarton and lay thesides flat on the ground.
Removeall packinginserts.
2. Movethe mowerand grasscatcheroutof the carton.
3. Makecertainthe carton hasbeen completelyemptiedbefore
discardingit.
ASSEMBLING THE HANDLE
1. Removeany packingmaterialwhich may be betweenupperand
lowerhandles.
2. Looseneach handknobfoundon the insideof theupper handle.
3. Gentlylift and pivot theupper handleintothe operatingposition
as shownin Figure1.
4. Removestar knobsfrom handlemountingbracketsandsecure
the lowerhandleonto the handlebracketsby placingthelower
hole of the lowerhandleontothe pinsof the handlebrackets.
5. Securethe upper handleand lowerhandlebytighteningthe
hand knobs. Eachcarriagebolt mustbe seatedproperlyinto the
squareholefoundin the plasticconnector.
6. Tightenstar knobssecuringlowerhandleto handlebrackets.See
Figure2. Makecertainthe lowerhandleis seatedsecurelyinto
the handlemountingbrackets.
ATTACHING THE GRASS CATCHER
1. Lift rear dischargedoor.
2. Removemulchingbaffle.See Figure3.
