c. General information
• The battery charger is only intended for charging the associated battery. Do not use it for
other purposes or batteries from other manufacturers.
• It is possible that new batteries, or batteries that have been unused for a longer period
of time, may not fully charge. This is normal and not immediately a defect. After several
complete discharges and recharges, the module will be fully recharged.
• If the batteries are heated, from devices in use or from devices exposed to sunlight or
heat for an extended period of time, the charging indicator may not light up red. Let the
battery module cool down first, preferably outside the charging station.
• If your charging indicator flashes alternately red and green, charging is not possible. It is
possible that the connections on the battery or the charging station are dusty or that one
of them is worn out or damaged.
pletely disconnected from the power supply. To do this, remove the battery.
Cleaning: After clipping, remove the oil from the machine, head and blades with a dry
cloth and remove hair with a brush. Then lightly oil all parts to prevent rust build-up.
Even the smallest rust spots can impair the clipping result. The assembly of the blades is
described in point 4.b. Fitting blades.
Blade sharpening: Sharpening can only be done on special machines and by specialist
dealers. Work only with sharp knives, never with blunt or damaged knives.
Storage: The clipper must be kept well cleaned and oiled. Place the case out of the
reach of children and animals and in a moisture-free environment. If there is a suspicion
of ingress of moisture, do not use the machine any more. Bring them for inspection as
there is a risk of a short circuit or electric shock.
