1.0 - GENERAL INFORMATION
This manual explains how to safely install, operate and use the device.
The user instructions must ALWAYS be available in the system where the device is installed.
ATTENTION: the installation/wiring/maintenance operations must be carried out by qualified
personnel (as indicated in 1.3) using suitable personal protection equipment (PPE).
For any information relating to installation/wiring/maintenance operations or in the event of problems that cannot be resolved

the last page.
1.1 - DESCRIPTION
Normally closed automatic gas shut-off solenoid valves, which open when the opening system is electrically powered and close
when power is removed. They can be controlled by pressure switches, thermostats, etc.
Built-in flow regulator with opening speed adjustment (EVR versions).
They can be supplied equipped with a CPI switch for remote signalling of the valve shutter position (closed) and an OPI switch
for remote signalling of the shutter position (open). Further information regarding the CPI and OPI switches can be found in 6.0.

1.3 - QUALIFIED PERSONNEL
These are persons who:
• Have experience with the installation, assembly, commissioning and maintenance of the product;
• Are aware of the regulations in force in the region or country regarding installation and safety;
• Have first aid training.
1.4 - USE OF NON-ORIGINAL SPARE PARTS
• In case of maintenance or replacement of spare parts (e.g. opening system, connector, etc.) ONLY those indicated by the
manufacturer must be used. The use of different components, in addition to voiding the product warranty, could compromise
its correct functioning.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for malfunctions resulting from unauthorised tampering with or the use of non-original
spare parts.
1.5 - INAPPROPRIATE USE
• The product must only be used for the purpose for which it was built.
• It must not be used with fluids other than those indicated.
• The technical data indicated on the plate must never be exceeded. It is the responsibility of the end user or installer to adopt
correct systems to protect the appliance that prevent the maximum pressure indicated on the plate from being exceeded.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for damage caused by improper use of the appliance.
