• Wire the connector (23 or 25) with 3x0.75 mm² cable, external Ø from 6.2 to 8.1 mm. The cable to be used must be in a
double sheath, suitable for external use, with a minimum voltage of 500V and a temperature of at least 90°C;
• Connect terminals 1 (N) and 2 (L) and the earth cable to
to the power supply (see fig. 3). IMPORTANT: with 24 Vdc power supplies it is necessary to respect the polarity:

• Secure the connector (23 or 25) by tightening the central screw (22 or 24) (recommended torque 0.4 N.m ± 10%);
• The valve must be earthed either by piping or by other means (e.g. cable bridges).
3.3 - INSTALLATION IN PLACES AT RISK OF EXPLOSION (DIRECTIVE 2014/34/EU)
The solenoid valve is not suitable for use in places at risk of explosion.
3.4 - GENERIC EXAMPLE OF INSTALLATION
1. Solenoid valve with manual reset M16/RM N.C.
2. SM pull valve
3. FM gas filter
4. OPSO block valve MVB/1 MAX series
5. RG/2MCS pressure regulator
6. EVF-3 automatic solenoid valve

4.0 - FIRST COMMISSIONING
• Before commissioning, check that all the indications on the plate, including the flow direction, are respected;
• IMPORTANT: In the initial start-up phase, power the valve electrically for approximately 15-20 seconds and
de-energise it. Repeat the operation for at least 4-5 times to ensure Air-Oil separation within the hydraulic circuit.
• After having gradually pressurised the system, check the tightness and operation of the solenoid valve, powering/
disconnecting it electrically.
• IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not use the connector as a switch to open/close the solenoid valve.
4.1 - RECOMMENDED PERIODIC CHECKS
• Check with a suitable calibrated tool that the tightening of the bolts complies with that indicated in 3.2;
• Check the tightness of the flanged/threaded connections on the system;
• Check the tightness and operation of the solenoid valve;
It is the responsibility of the end user or installer to define the frequency of the afore-mentioned checks based on the severity
of the service conditions.
