RIDING UPHILL
Approach downhill slopes from the front to avoid tipping over. Check that all wheels touch the ground
all the time (driveways, etc.) It is always recommended to lean slightly forward during climbing high
slopes. While riding on the sloping surface, the battery indicator can move up and down. When riding
on slopes and hills pay special attention and apply the brakes if necessary.
PARKING
When parking the scooter, the user should make use of both the parking brake and steering wheel
lock. Parking brake prevents the vehicle from rolling forward or backwards on its own, when stopped
on uneven terrain.
To apply the parking brake, pull the left brake lever to maximum and then using another hand, push
the parking brake pin upwards. This will lock the manual brake in place.
To release the parking brake, pull the brake lever to maximum then release it.
LOCKING THE STEERING WHEEL
To prevent the scooter from being accessed by unauthorized users, the steering wheel should be
locked. First, make sure the motor is turned off. Secondly turn the steering wheel maximum to the left.
Thirdly, put the ignition key into the ignition key switch. While the key is in, push it forward and turn
it counterclockwise. Once turned, try pushing the steering wheel to the right until the lock clicks into
place. This will lock the steering wheel.
To unlock the steering wheel, insert the ignition key into the ignition key switch and then while
pushing it forward, turn it right. While doing so, turn the steering wheel right to dislodge the steering
wheel from it's locked position.
PROCEDURE IN CASE OF TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
When encountering technical problems while on public road or property, the rider should turn on the
hazard lights by switching left and right turn light signal quickly. This signals to other members of the
traffic technical issues and allows them to take additional care when approaching.
caution
IF ONE OF THE TYRES LOSES PRESSURE DURING RIDING, THE RIDER IS ADVISED TO RIDE AHEAD
AND RELEASE THE THROTTLE, ALLOWING THE VEHICLE TO SLOW DOWN FIRST. BRAKING AS THE
SCOOTER. ONLY ONCE THE VEHICLE SLOWS DOWN, THE BRAKING SHOULD BE PERFORMED WITH
CARE. WHEN THE VEHICLE STOPS, PREFERABLY AWAY FROM THE ROAD, THE RIDER MUST TURN
THE HAZARD LIGHTS ON AND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE INFLATE THE TYRE.
