OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Starting / stopping the product
To start
•
Push the forward/reverse switch (L) to "F" for
forward.
•
Press the safety lock switch (M).
•
Squeeze the trigger (N) to start the product.
Note: This product has three lights along the
bottom of the power head around the shaft. When
the trigger is pressed, the lights turn on. If you
release the trigger fully, the lights will turn off after
30 seconds.
WARNING
Do not touch the cap of the gear box after
operating the product, the high temperature may
cause the injury.
To stop
•
Release the trigger (N) to stop the product.
2. Anti-kickback mechanism
When the auger detects tough soil, debris, or a
potential loss of control, the anti-kickback feature
will activate to prevent any forceful movement that
might endanger the operator. This function will
automatically stop the product. Meanwhile, the
anti-kickback indicator (D) will illuminate in blue
and flash (on and off).
If a kickback occurs, the correct procedure is to
simply release the trigger (N). Lift the auger from
the hole, restart it, and carefully lower it back into
the hole.
