GETTING THE MOST FROM YOUR SKILLET
It is not necessary to use high heat when browning or frying foods. The distribution of heat is even,
medium heat is recommended.
Do not use metal utensils in your electric skillet as they may damage the non-stick coating. Use
wooden, nylon or plastic utensils that are suitable for use on hot surfaces.
Do not use aerosol non-stick cooking spray on the cooking surface of the skillet.
Use olive oil or butter, if desired. Neither is necessary. The foods will cook on the non-stick surface
without sticking.
Do not cut foods in the skillet. It will damage the non-stick surface.
Allow pan to return to room temperature before cleaning.
When storing the skillet, line the cooking surface with paper towels to preserve the non-stick finish.
CARE AND CLEANING
This product contains no user serviceable parts.
Unplug the cord, remove the variable temperature control by pulling it straight out. Wait for appliance
to cool completely before cleaning.
Note: Be careful when removing the variable temperature control. It may be hot after use.
Wash the pan and lid with hot sudsy water. ONLY the lid can be washed on both the upper and lower
racks of the dishwasher.
Body is NOT a dishwasher safe.
When washing by hand, use a sponge with liquid detergent. Do not use any abrasive cleaners or
metal pads as they can damage the non-stick coating.
Rinse and dry.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
Always allow the electric skillet to completely cool before storing.
Wind the electrical cord into a coil and secure with a twist fastener.
Store your electric skillet in a dry location, such as on a tabletop or countertop, or on a cupboard
shelf.
Other than recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance is necessary.
