Attaching the
Fan Blades
NOTE: Your fan blades are reversible. Select
the blade side finish that best accentuates your
decor.
1. Attach blade to bracket using the screws
as shown in figure 9. Please note that the
rubber washers are pre-attached to the blade
bracket. Start a screw into the bracket.
Repeat for the two remaining screws.
2. Tighten each screw securely.
3. Fasten the blade assembly to the motor by
inserting the alignment post into the slot
on the top of the motor and tightening the
motor screws. Please note that the motor
screws are pre-attached into the blade
brackets (Figure 10).
4. Repeat steps 1-3 for the remaining blades.
Attaching the Light Kit
and Glass Shades
CAUTION - To reduce the risk of electrical
shock, disconnect the electrical supply circuit
to the fan before installing light kit.
1. Remove one serrated head screw from the
switch box adaptor. Loosen, but do not re-
move the other two serrated head screws.
See figure 11.
2. Connect the molded adaptor plugs.
3. Align the "L" shape holes on the switch box
with the serrated head screws on the on the
switch box adaptor. Turn the switch box to
hold in position.
4. Install the other serrated screw that was re-
moved in step 1. Tighten all three serrated

5. Attach the fabric shade to the light kit by
tilting the shade at a 45˚ as shown in figure
12. Align three holes on the housing and the
threaded rods. Secure the fabric shade by in-
stalling the decorative screws.
6. With power off, install the light bulbs (Max.
40W, provided) into the sockets (Figure 13).
OVER-LAMPING THE FAN WILL RESULT IN
THE FAN LIGHTS SHUTTING DOWN UNTIL THE
PROPER WATTAGE BULBS ARE INSTALLED.
RESET THE LIGHTS BY TURNING OFF, REPLACE
BULBS WITH THE CORRECT WATTAGE BULBS
AND TURN POWER ON.
