►Follow the assembly steps shown, observing
the safety instructions, see „16. Assembly" on
page 54.
4.3 Electrical installation
WARNING
EN 60335-1 DIN VDE 0700 Part 1 states the
following under paragraph 13:
The leakage current shall not exceed the
following values at operating temperatu-
re: for fixed heating equipment of protec-
tion class I, 0.75 mA; or 0.75 mA per kW ra-
ted input of the equipment, whichever is
greater, with a maximum value of 5 mA.
However, if a residual current device (RCD)
is installed, make sure that no other electri-
cal loads are protected by this RCD.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock, short circuit and da-
mage to property.
►Have the LED lighting and the sauna hea-
ter installed only by a qualified electrician.
►Do not use PVC-insulated cables inside
the sauna because of their poor heat re-
sistance, use silicone cables instead. Rub-
ber cables are particularly suitable for out-
door use.
►Only use slow-blow fuses or fuses with a
low melting point.
►Before connecting, check whether the mains
voltage and mains frequency of the device
are identical to those of the utility grid.
►Connect the power cable to a free, easily ac-
cessible socket.
4.4 Installing the sauna heater
►When installing and connecting the sauna
heater, follow the instructions and procedures
in the manufacturer's installation manual. See
„16. Assembly" on page 54.
WARNING
Fire hazard and electric shock due to in-
correct installation.
Failure to observe the following instructi-
ons may result in serious fire damage.
►The installation location of the heater must
comply with the minimum safety distan-
ces specified in the manufacturer's inst-
ructions for use.
►The sauna cabin may only be operated
with a single sauna heater.
►For safety and insurance reasons, the sau-
na heater may only be connected to
the mains by an authorised electrician in
compliance with the applicable local re-
gulations.
►Under certain circumstances, additional
material not included in the scope of deli-
very may be necessary for installation.
►Never switch on the mains current of the
electric sauna heater via the residual cur-
rent circuit breaker (FI) because of its insu-
lation resistance!
CAUTION
Risk of tripping and injury due to incorrect
handling.
►Prevent the risk of tripping due to the
power cord by laying it securely.
►Do not bend the power cord at sharp
corners or edges.
