Warning! Heavy unsecured loads
can cause injuries due to slipping.
•
Work may only be carried out on the lifted load if it has
been supported, the lifter has been relieved and the load has
been secured.
•
It is strictly forbidden to stand under the lifted load.
•
The user must never be forced to put any part of his body
under the support of the wheels to be machined or the
vehicle in question.
•
Keep hands, feet, etc. away from the moving parts of the
appliance.
•
Secure the vehicle from which a wheel is removed against
rolling.
•
The vehicle's engine must be switched off.
•
There must be nobody inside the vehicle.
•
Do not allow anyone to get into the vehicle or start the
engine while working on the wheels.
•
The equipment must be used on a well-lit, firm, level, horizontal
surface without any unnecessary elements.
•
Never work on a surface that could sink in.
•
If you need to use the device at the side of the road, the raised
vehicle may sway due to passing traffic.
•
Wear gloves
•
Wear eye protection, heavy long trousers and substancial
footwear at all times.
•
Keep handles and grasping surfaces dry, clean and free from
oil and grease.
•
The maximum lifting height and maximum lifting load/load
capacity of the hydraulic cylinder specified on the label must
never be exceeded.
•
The operator must monitor the lifting and moving equipment
during the entire operation. If dangerous conditions are detec-
ted, use must be discontinued.
•
Never store or use at temperatures above 60°C (140°F).
•
Do not allow the punch to come into contact with corro-
sive substances.
Working instructions
Attention! Check that all of the above safety
precautions are met before removing or instal-
ling wheels on the vehicle.
•
The wheels and castors of the equipment must turn freely.
•
During operation, the equipment must be secured against
movement using the parking brakes on the castors.
•
Also observe the operating instructions for the impact wrench
that is attached to the assembly trolley.
•
Do not connect the impact screwdriver to the compressed air
supply until it is at the correct working height.

Maintenance and care
Visual inspection before starting work
Always visually check the device for damage before initial
use and after transport. Ensure any damage is repaired
by trained service personnel prior to initial use.

Accident prevention regulations
Have an inspection carried out once a year by an expert.
Maintain labels and nameplates. These carry important
information. If unreadable or missing, contact a Würth
service facility for a free replacement.
Clean and lubricate the axles and moving parts of the
appliance regularly.
We recommend applying a rust inhibitor to the main piston.
Change hydraulic oil
•
Unscrew all the screws that anchor the hydraulic unit to the
housing and remove the hydraulic unit..
•
With the plunger fully retracted, remove the cap from the filler
hole and empty the contents into a container.
•
Hold the hydraulic unit horizontally and fill in the type and
quantity of oil specified in the technical data. Avoid getting dirt
in when filling Never add brake fluid.
Caution! A larger amount of oil than necessary
can lead to malfunctions in the operation of the
hydraulic unit.
•
Mount the cover on the filling hole.
•
Put the hydraulic unit back on the device and fasten it.
Dispose of old oil in an environmentally
friendly manner.
Use only genuine Würth accessories and spare parts.
Accessories and spare parts
If. in spite of careful manufacturing and testing processes,
the device becomes faulty, a repair by Würth MASTERSER-
VICE should be arranged.
With any enquiries or spare parts orders, always quote the
article number as given on the name plate. The latest spare
parts list for the device is available online at http://www.
wuerth.com/partsmanager. Alternatively, contact your
local Würth agency for a hardcopy.
Storage
Store the machine in a dry place out of the reach of
children. Keep corrosive substances away. Do not store
outdoors and keep away from dust.
When the appliance is not in operation::
•
the hydraulic cylinder must not be stored under pressure. Lo-
wer the hydraulic unit to the lowest position to minimise rusting
of the piston.
•
Take the lever out of the mount.
