Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING!
• To prevent the risk of electrocution, turn off and unplug
the spot cleaner from the power supply before cleaning.
• Never immerse the main unit, power cord and plug in
water or any other liquid. Never rinse them under the
tap.
NOTE: Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning
products, wire brushes, sharp objects or scouring pads
to clean the spot cleaner.
• Empty and clean the water tanks after each use.
• Clean the foam filter at least once a month or more often if
required.
• Wipe the main unit with a slightly damp, soft cloth. Make sure
that no liquid enters the main unit.
• After cleaning, air dry all parts thoroughly. Then reassemble
the spot cleaner.
Cleaning the tools and clean water tank
Press the wash tool release button and pull to remove the wash tool from the hose handle.
•
Half fill the clean water tank with water. Attach the self-cleaning nozzle onto the
hose handle.
•
Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the spot cleaner.
•
To flush through and clean the hose, press the water release button on the hose
handle until the hose is clean.
Remove the clean water tank by tilting it at a 30-degree angle and lifting it off the main unit.
