9.2 Assembly of the Coupler Kit
REC+ VAS 581 011 can be used to recover refrigerant:
• R1234yf
The specific coupler provided with the product must be installed on the tank dedicated to
refrigerant recovery.
The coupler must be assembled in correspondence of the BLUE valve, marked with the word
VAPOR.
Use dual-valve (liquid / vapor) tanks or single-use tanks to store the
contaminated refrigerant.
The R-bottle type tanks in light materials are not appropriate for transporting
unknown refrigerants.
Finding an appropriate tank for the recovery of contaminated refrigerant and
passing it to a company / organisation that will analyse the contaminated
refrigerant in compliance with the current regulations are to be taken care of
by the workshop.
Proceed as shown in the image:
1. BLUE - Vapor
2. RED - Liquid
Close the couplers manually until completely tightened in order to avoid
leaks.
Refer to the safety information provided by the manufacturer for any
operation regarding the tank, such as handling and storage.
