The software in the charging station guides the operator step-by-step throughout the
procedure.
The engine of the vehicle you are working on must remain off throughout the
procedure.
The instructions in this manual refer to the use of REC+ VAS 581 011 with
charging station VAS 581 003.
If using the product with VAS 581 001 or VAS 581 005, contact your service
provider or the charging station manufacturer for the operating instructions.
Below are the various steps of the procedure:
1. Switch on the equipment.
2. Select the contaminated refrigerant recovery function.
3. Follow the instructions on the display.
PHASE 1: Vacuum in the Recovery unit
4. Connect the HP coupler of the equipment to the P1 coupler of the recovery unit.
5. Make sure the S coupler of the recovery unit is disconnected from the vehicle's A/C system.
6. Follow the instructions on the display.
