Preparing for installation
CAUTION: Always shut off the water supply before
removing an existing faucet or replacing any part of a
faucet. Open the faucet handle to relieve water pressure
and ensure that the water is completely shut off.

Before installation, please refer to step 2 to con rm the position of the rough body.

Wood oor installation: Determine faucet location, make sure the stringer is located 1-3/16 in. to 2-1/2 in.
below the sub oor, then drill four holes 3/8 in. Min. diameter to 1/2 in. diameter Max. in the stringer
as shown in the gure 1.

Concrete oor installation: Determine faucet location, drill four holes 3/8 in. Min. diameter to 1/2 in. Max.
diameter in the stringer as shown in the gure 2.
NOTE: The wall thickness of the proposed stringer is
2 in. (50.8mm).

Making the waterline
connections
□
Measure and position rough (K) making sure
"C" (1) is toward the tub side as shown in the
gure. Make the necessary hot and cold water
supply pipe (not including) connections, using
sealant tape into 1/2" NPT inlets in rough
body (K).
NOTE: Do not to reverse the cold and hot supply.
