6.2 - Maintenance
ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE VOLTAGE SUPPLY BEFORE
CARRYING OUT MAINTENANCE WORK.
The instructions indicated below only cover maintenance of the
condenser itself. To guarantee optimum system operation the
maintenance program in the air conditioner manual must also be
carried out.
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - FANS
- Monthly check that the fan/s rotate freely without any abnormal
noise.
Also check the current absorption. (max current absorbition of
condensing unit has not to exceed 8 A).
- Every six months. Check the condensate drainage holes for
clogging, opening where necessary.
MAINTENANCE PROGRAM - COOLING COIL
Verify the state of the coil; if necessary clean it as follows:
•
In spring: clean using a vacuum cleaner.
•
In summer: this being the period of maximum use, keep
the coil as clean as possible, with a vacuum cleaner and, if
necessary, with water.
•
In winter: clean with water (with the air conditioner off).
•
If necessary (coil blocked - HP intervention) remove the fan
and clean the coil from the top using a high pressure water
jet (this operation must be performed by a technician to avoid
damage).
7 - Calibrations (Tab. 3)
The new ESD Variex (stepless fan speed controller by triac cut
phase method) is a stand alone controller, which comes factory
installed, wired and calibrated correctly with the values indicated
in Tab.3.
