The operation and setting up of the switchgear parameters is
protected by a three-stage security system. After the corre-
sponding password (Menu 4.4.1 or 4.4.2) has been entered,
the system is enabled at the associated user level (display by
means of the indicators located next to the levels designa-
tions). By pressing the login button takes the user into the sys-
tem.
User 1:
At this level (typically: local users, e.g. building superintend-
ents) the display is enabled for almost all menu items. Parame-
ter inputs are limited.
The password (4 digits; numerical) for this user level can be
assigned in Menu 4.4.1 (works setting: 1111).
User 2:
At this level (typically: operators) the display is enabled for
almost all menu items with the exception of the simulation
mode. Almost completely unlimited parameter inputs are pos-
sible.
The password (4 digits; numerical) for this user level can be
assigned in Menu 4.4.2 (works setting: 2222).
The service user level is reserved for SALMSON after-sales serv-
ice.
