FIRST INSTALLATION
6.5
Correct installation of the autoclave is key to ensuring its proper operation. Below is an installation
checklist:
1. The device must be installed in a laboratory accessible only to authorised personnel.
2. The working environment must be properly lit (see UNI standard 10380) and adequately
ventilated.
3. Position the equipment on a perfectly flat and horizontal surface with a minimum load capacity of
70 kg. The autoclave is supplied already levelled. The sterilisation chamber is slightly inclined to the
rear of the equipment.
4. Position the autoclave so as to leave sufficient room for inspecting and cleaning the sterilisation
chamber.
5. Do not install the autoclave close to washbasins or taps: the cover of this equipment is not
watertight.
6. Do not install the equipment close to heat sources (i.e. other autoclaves, ovens or similar).
