OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
CENTRIFUGAL ELECTRIC PUMP CH SERIES
In the case of three-phase electric pumps, the correct direction of rotation must
be checked and if necessary, the two phases must be inverted. The single-phase
electric pumps can only rotate in one direction, which is factory pre-set. It will be up
to the user to make sure that the performance of the electric pump falls within the
nominal rating indicated on the data plate. If it does not, adjust the gate valve on the
delivery pipe and / or the pressure at which the pressure switch triggers, if installed.

MAINTENANCE
Disconnect the power supply before carrying out maintenance and/or repairs. If work
has to be carried out on the machine, the gate valves located on the suction and
delivery pipes must be closed and the liquid drained from the pump body through the
appropriate drain holes; adopt suitable precautions for liquids of >40°C. If there is a
risk of freezing, in the case of prolonged machine stops, the tank and all the pipes
must be emptied completely. (Fig. 2) If the tank and / or switch and / or pressure
switch and / or other hydraulic components (hose, fitting etc.) has/have to be repla-
ced, the work must be carried out by qualified personnel. In any case, use compo-
nents that are exactly the same as the existing ones, in order to guarantee the safety
of the equipment.
