BEDFORD W191 ELECTRONIC VARIABLE SPEED DRIVE
1. SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
W191 is a new power electronic product, please read the operation manual carefully
before using to keep your safety and make sure proper operation. In this manual, the
safety precautions were sorted to "WARNING" and "CAUTION".
WARNING: Wrong using may result in death or serious personal injury.
CAUTION: Wrong using may result in the damage of controller or system.
• Please don't dismantle, change the product, or it may cause electric shock, fire hazard and personal
injury;
• Please don't open the cover while the power is on;
• Please don't put wire, metal rod, filaments etc. into the controller to avoid the risk of short circuit or
electric shock;
• After controller is power on, its cannot be touched even if in down state as the terminals of
the controller are still charged. Otherwise, there is a risk of electric shock
• Please don't splash water or other liquid over the controller.
• Wiring work should be performed by qualified electricians, and construction is performed in
accordance with electrical regulations.
• Please don't make with stand voltage tests on the components inside the controller;
• Don't connect AC power to output terminals UVW;
• If the internal components of the controller were influenced or damaged by static, please do
not touch;
• The motor and controller should match the power supply specifications, other wise it could
cause abnormal operation even burnout the device;
• If there is severe vibration, noise, heat or odor during initial operation,turn off the power
immediately and contact the supplier or service center;
• Please don't install the controller in the environment with direct sunlight, rain, frost or snow
to avoid deformation or damage.
