Air filters
The unit contains 2 air filters. To prevent the fan from malfunctioning
due to dust in the filter, it is best to clean the air filters every two weeks
using a vacuum cleaner along the exterior of the filters.
Give the filters a thorough cleaning every six to twelve months. To do
this, remove the filters and wash
1. Remove both filters.
2. Clean the filters in lukewarm water with a mild detergent.
3. Rinse the filters thoroughly and let them air dry.
4. When the filters are completely dry, you can put them back in the unit.
Air conditioner body
Use a damp, soft cloth and a bit of mild detergent, to clean the outside of the unit. Make sure the
unit is thoroughly dried afterwards.
STORING
Before storing the unit for a longer period of time, please follow the next steps :
1. Drain all the water from the appliance.
2. Afterwards turn on the unit in the "fan" mode for half a day. Make sure the unit is placed in a
heated room. This will dry the unit completely and prevent the forming of mold.
3. Turn off the unit, remove the plug from the socket and remove the batteries from the remote
control.
4. Clean the filters and place them back in the unit.
5. Store the unit in a dry, dark place.
