Cooking Tips
The following factors may affect cooking:
Food arrangement
Place thicker parts towards the extremities of the dish, and thinner parts in the center; spread
evenly. As much as possible, avoid overlapping
Cooking time
Start cooking by setting a short time, check the food after the time is out and extend the time
according to the need. When food is overcooked, it may burn and smoke may be generated.
Cooking food evenly
Foods such as chicken, hamburgers or steaks should be turned over once during the cooking
process. Depending on the type of food, stir it from the outside towards the center of the dish
once or twice during the cooking process.
Allow it to rest
After cooking the time is out, leave the food in the oven for a while; thus the cooking cycle is
completed and the food can cool down.
Checking if the food is properly cooked
Check the color and the consistency of the food to establish whether it is ready. Check whether:
• Steam is coming out the entire dish, not just the edges.
• Poultry joins can be removed easily.
• There are no remains of blood on pork or poultry.
• Fish is opaque and can be sliced easily with a fork
Browning dish
When using a browning dish or a self-heating container, always place a heat-resistant insulator
such as a porcelain plate underneath to prevent damage to the turntable and the rotating ring.
Microwave safe plastic wrap
When cooking high-fat food, do not allow the plastic wrap to come into contact with food, as it
may melt.
Microwave safe plastic cookware
Some microwave safe plastic cookware might not be suitable for cooking foods with high fat and
sugar content. Also, the preheating time specified in the dish instruction manual must not be
exceeded.
