Operating the appliance safely at 12 Vg

The cable between the battery and the cooling device must be
protected by a fuse with a maximum rating of 15 A.
Only select 12 Vg operation (battery mode) if you are using a
battery monitor or if the alternator in your vehicle provides suffi-
cient voltage.
Only use cables with an appropriate cross section.

Only use the cable supplied to connect the appliance to the AC
mains.
Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
If the cable is damaged, it must be replaced to prevent possible
electrical hazards. Only replace a damaged cable with one of
the same type and specifications.
Before starting the appliance, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
Check that the voltage specification on the type plate is the
same as that of the power supply.

Operating the appliance safely with gas
NOTICE!
A
Never use a naked flame to check for leaks.
Only use propane or butane gas (not natural gas).
Always operate the appliance at the pressure shown on the
type plate. Use a DIN-DVGW-approved pressure regulator with
a fixed setting in accordance with DIN EN 12864.
Never store liquid gas cylinders where there is poor ventilation
or below ground level (funnel-shaped holes in the ground).
Keep liquid gas cylinders away from direct sunlight. The temper-
ature may not exceed 50 °C.
The appliance may not be operated with gas on ferries.
