Introduction
If the monitor is used in medical practice
(in accordance with the legislation govern-
ing the operation of medical devices), it
should be calibrated at regular intervals
(see page 88).
Wireless communication devices, such as

home networking devices, mobile phones,
cordless phones and their base stations,
walkie-talkies can affect this blood pres-
sure monitor. Therefore, a minimum
distance of 11 feet should be kept from
such devices. Do not use a cell phone
during the blood pressure measurement.
This device conforms to the European
medical products guidelines 93/42/EWG.
This is confirmed by the CE marking CE

0124. (The ID number 0124 stands for the
notified body DEKRA)
The Bluetooth radio transmission of the
device conforms to the telecommunicati-
ons guidelines 1999/5/EG.

Purpose

Non-invasive recording of systolic and
diastolic blood pressure and pulse fre-
quency in humans.
The instrument can be used with any arm
circumference as shown on the corre-
sponding cuff.
