7. Maintenance and inspection

Safety measures

Who can carry out maintenance and inspection work?
» Normal maintenance work can be carried out by trained operating personnel.

Inspections of the filling station may only be carried out by an authorised, registered inspection
agency with respect to the ADR approval.

Action
Remove any adhering dirt and diesel fuel.
Repair damage to the zinc coating by cold galvanising or repair damage
to the paint with 2-component PU paint RAL 7036 "platinum grey".
Visual check for damage
Check hoses for cracks and porosity, check valves for leaks (replace
defective parts).
Lubricate hinges and lock with a few drops of universal oil.
Visual and functional check as described in the LS-03 leakage probe
operating instructions.
