MAINTENANCE
Carefully read and understand the safety regulations and the maintenance instructions before you clean, repair, or
do any maintenance on the product (Reference Safety regulations and maintenance instructions).
• REMOVE BATTERY OR BATTERIES FROM THE PRODUCT BEFORE YOU DO ANY MAINTENANCE.
• FAILURE TO FOLLOW PROPER MAINTENANCE SERVICE, USING THIRD-PARTY REPLACEMENT
PARTS, OR MODIFYING/REMOVING COMPONENTS CAN RESULT IN INJURY TO THE USER.
5.1
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULE
The following is a list of the maintenance steps that must be performed on the product.
Maintenance
Clean the external parts of the product.
To ensure safe operation, verify that the trigger and
front handle safety switch are functioning correctly.
Make sure that all controls are in working order and are
not damaged.
Inspect the blade and blade guard for signs of damage,
such as cracks. Replace the blade or the blade guard
if they have cracks or if they have been exposed to
impact.
Replace the blade if it is bent or damaged.
Inspect the hand guard for signs of damage, such as
cracks. Replace the guard if it is damaged.
Make sure that the screws and nuts are tight.
Make sure that the battery is not damaged.
Make sure that the battery is charged.
Make sure that the battery charger is not damaged.
Make sure that the screws holding the blades together
are properly tightened.
Perform a thorough check of the connection between
the battery and the product. Additionally, examine the
connection between the battery and the battery charger.
5.2
EXAMINE THE BLADES
1.
Before and after each use, clean the blades using an anti-corrosion cleaning agent to remove any unwanted
materials.
2.
Inspect the edges of the blade for any signs of damage or deformation.
3.
Use a file to eliminate any burrs on the blade.
4.
Ensure that there are no obstacles impeding the movement of the blades.
