• Provide a stop valve upstream of the Geberit
HS01 hygiene flush unit.
• Do not remove the battery during a flushing
process. Solenoid valve does not close
automatically if battery is removed.
• Protect from direct sunlight. Exposure to direct
sunlight can discolour the control unit cover.
Safety notes for HS01 hygiene flush unit
with trap
• Only operate the Geberit HS01 hygiene flush
unit in a vertical position.
• Mount the Geberit HS01 hygiene flush unit on
the wall using 4 fastening screws.
• Do not install an additional trap in the discharge
pipe. The Geberit HS01 hygiene flush unit has
an integrated trap.
• Should the drain become clogged, water can
leak from the Geberit HS01 hygiene flush unit.

• Only connect the control unit to a securely
mounted supply pipe.
• Do not immerse the control unit in water.
