SET UP & USE
REPLACING THE FUSE
CAUTION: Turn off fan and disconnect plug from power source before replacing
fuse.
• Grasp plug and remove from the receptacle or other outlet device. Do not unplug
by pulling on cord.
• Open fuse cover located on the side of the power cord plug by sliding it toward
the plug blades
• Remove fuse carefully by taking a small tool and slowly prying out one end. Once
you have one end out, slowly pry out the other end.
• To avoid the risk of fire, replace only with 2.5 Amp, 125V fuse.
• Close fuse cover by sliding cover toward the top of the plug.
CAUTION: Risk of fire. Do not replace attachment plug. Contains a safety device
(fuse) that should not be removed. Discard product if the attachment
plug is damaged.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING: Be sure to turn off fan and unplug from the electrical supply source
before cleaning.
Be sure not to get water or any other liquid inside the motor.
Do not disassemble the fan for cleaning.
• To ensure adequate air circulation to the motor, keep vents at the rear of the
motor housing free of dust, debris, etc. Unplug fan before using a vacuum cleaner
to clean these vents. Do not disassemble the fan motor to clean.
• Plastic parts of the fan should be cleaned with mild soap and a damp cloth or
sponge. Rinse with clean water to remove any soapy film residue.
• Be sure not to get water or any other liquid inside the motor.
