IF THE CHILD IS LESS THAN 15 MONTHS OLD.
• The Base Giro must be installed on forward-
facing seats.
Do not install the "Base Giro" on vehicle seats
facing backwards or sideways.
• The use of the Base Giro guarantees greater
safety and makes the installation of Primo
Viaggio (Lounge, SLK) easier compared to
using the seats without the base.
• Check that the child car seat is not blocked
by a moving part of the seat or a door.
• Consult the list of car models and seats
equipped with ISOFIX anchor systems (see
inside) that have been approved by the
restraining system manufacturer.
• Never leave your child unattended in the car,
not even for short periods. The temperature
inside the vehicle may change very rapidly
and become dangerous for the child inside.
• If your product is second-hand, check it
is a recently built model, it comes with
instructions and that all parts are working
correctly. An obsolete product may not be
compliant as a result of the normal aging of
materials and new laws coming into force. If
in doubt, contact the manufacturer's support
centre.
• Do not use the base if it is visibly damaged
or there are missing parts, or if it has been
subjected to heavy impacts in an accident,
because it might have suffered extremely
dangerous structural damage that is not
visible.
• Do not use the product if the original fabric
cover is not present.
• The fabric cover and the expanded
polystyrene (EPS) part are an integral part
of the product and its performance: do not
replace with non-original parts that have not
been approved by the manufacturer.
• Do not modify the product and do not
remove the adhesive labels, as this may
make the product not compliant with legal
requirements.
• For any repairs, replacement parts and
information about the product, contact
the after-sales assistance service. Contact
information is provided on the last page of
this manual.
• The assembly and installation operations
must be carried out by adults.
Do not use installation methods different
from those indicated. This would result in
the risk of detachment from the seat.
• Do not insert fingers into the mechanisms.
• When travelling by car, take special care
to ensure that luggage or other unsecured
items cannot injure the child sitting in the
car seat in the case of an accident.

Perego Assistance Department by writing to:

seat so it faces the direction of travel.
3 Extend the Isofix connectors by using the two
levers on the side: press the safety tab (1) and
the release button (2) and, at the same time,
push the connectors as far out as they can (3).
4 Rotate the support foot from under the base.
5 Using with Primo Viaggio Lounge: Pull out
the rebound bar from under the base until

6 Position the base on the vehicle seat as shown in
the figure, aligned with the Isofix connectors.
Push the base towards the vehicle seat's Isofix

connector activation levers of the Base Giro
will turn from red to green to show that it
has been connected correctly.
IMPORTANT: after completing the
operation, try moving the base to verify
that both Isofix connectors have been
connected correctly.
7 Adjust the height of the supporting foot by
pressing the lever at the base of the foot until
it touches the vehicle floor (it is important that
