1 Before first time use
Clean the hot air-frying basket and the grid with clean water (see chapter "Maintenance"). Only
then connect the hot air fryer to a suitable socket (see chapter "Specifications"). The display
lights up briefly and is then turns off.

2 Filling the hot air-frying basket
Pull the hot air-frying basket out from the appliance by the handle. Use the grill tray to ensure
that hot air flows around the food on all sides and that the food does not lie in any grease that
escapes. Fill the hot air-frying basket to the MAX mark only. Push the basket into the device so
that it is flush with the housing.
