setting the minimum speed for the fan to operate at above 0% will allow the user to ensure negative
pressure inside the tent even when the TCS-1 is not calling for cooling. Setting the maximum speed the fan
can operate will allow the user to choose how fast and how loud the fan will operate at full speed.
Press ENTER on "Exhaust Fan (F1)" and you will land on the page where you can set the fan settings. The
first thing to select is the mode you want the fan to operate. Press Enter and then use the Up / Down arrows
to select the desired mode, then press Enter. Next you can select the Minimum fan speed. Then you will
select the Maximum fan speed. You can also select to interlock the CO2 to be disabled when the fan is
running. Move the cursor on the screen down to CO2 Interlock, then use the Up or Down arrow to allow the
check mark √ to appear on the screen, and press ENTER again to confirm the selection. Depending on how
you set it up, the fans will increase their speed as the temperature or humidity rises, and they will slow down
(or stop) as the temperature and humidity decrease. With the fans working together in an "open loop" control
scheme, you will be able to accurately control the environment inside the tent using fresh air.
*Note:
The "Swing" function is not used to control standard EC fans.

by adding a separate intake fan and controlling it separately. With the F2 option, you can set the negative
pressure in your tent by decreasing the speed of the intake air fan.
Press ENTER on "Intake Fan(F2)" and you will land on the page where you can set the negative pressure
you' d like in your grow tent. Press ENTER again and use the UP and DOWN arrows to select your number,
press ENTER again to confirm the selection. You also have the option to not let your intake fan activate
when your temperature and/or humidity falls below the setpoints. The Stop When Below Setpoint function
will run in conjunction with the F1 settings and gives you the ability to choose whether you want to run the
F2 fan at minimum speed %, or turn the fan off completely when the temperature and / or humidity are
below the setpoint. To set the "Stop When Below Setpoint" , press ENTER on the bottom square and it will
start blinking. Use the UP or DOWN arrow to allow the check mark √ to appear on the screen, and then press
ENTER again to confirm the selection.
System Settings
The "System" tab is where you will set your miscellaneous internal settings for your Tent-X Controller. There
are many settings within the System Settings.
Unit of Measure:
Set what format you' d like your unit of measurements to be for temperature EC, and your
timeclock settings.
Manual Override:
You can also manually override your controller device modules on this page. That allows
you to test and make sure all of the device modules are connected and working properly with the controller.
Fan F2:
The F2 fan settings are for the optional 2nd fan that can be installed as an
intake fan. The intake fan can be set to operate at a slightly lower speed than F1
fan operates, hence automatically creating a negative pressure within the grow
tent. The user can select the % "differential" and whether to shut off the fan or
allow it to continue to operate when below the Temp or Humid setpoint. The user
can customize their intake fan settings within the F2 block. While a single exhaust
fan can be used, we can control the amount of negative pressure within the tent
