3.1 Material
Padding:
In order to support the perfect fit and the high wearing comfort,
we recommend to use our underwear for spinal orthoses
(Item-No. 145T20 or 145T22, available in the sizes XS-XXXL).
4 Application
4.1 Design and Adjustment Options
The trunk orthosis is supplied ready for fitting.
It consists of a frame structure with movable sternum pad and pelvic bar.
The height of the symphysis pad is adjustable by approx. 50 mm; the length
of the sternal pad is adjustable by approx. 40 mm.
To adjust, loosen the screws of the lateral, vertical bars and secure and
retighten the screws after desired setting (see Fig. 1).
The two-part sternum pad is adjustable in width by approximately 20 mm.
Loosen the appropriate screws and tighten and secure again after the desired
setting (see Fig. 2).
The back part consists of an anatomically shaped Lumbar pad, which has a
waist band with a special clamp closure system (see Fig. 3).
The two reinforcing hook-and-loop-bars (*) can be fixed into the lumbar pad
to stabilise this area (see Fig. 4).
In addition, there is a jointed connection cranially in the ventral area of the
frame structure, enabling an optimal setting of the sternum pad. Loosen the
appropriate screws and tighten and secure again after the desired setting
(see Fig. 5).
