4.2 Fit Control

• Placement, fit and pressure distribution of the three pads
• Hyperextension fit and -effect in the sitting position
• Proper location of the waist band
• Does the orthosis have close contact on the entire body
Only by meeting these criteria, optimal function can be warranted.
4.3 Donning and Doffing of the Orthosis
The individual setting after the donning or doffing process is largely ensured
by means of the clamping buckle (see Fig. 6).
To don the orthosis, first use the loose grip on the right side and hook it into
the intended location.
The strap can be individually cut and closed by means of the Y-hook- and
loop closure (see Fig. 7, similar).
Then, close the clamp lock on the left side. Do not press the green locking
lever, because otherwise the clamp lock cannot snap in (see Fig. 8).
To doff, first open the clamp lock on the left side of the brace. The clamp
lock opens by pulling the green locking lever (see Fig. 9).
Now open the hook closure on the right side (see Fig. 10).
