5 Care Instructions
The calf padding is removable and may be washed at 30° C. Do not spin-dry.
Do not tumble.
The peroneal spring requires regular cleaning. The synthetic and metal parts
can be cleaned with soap and water. These should be dried with a dry cloth.
The lower leg orthosis should not be dried with heat or similar methods.
The peroneal spring can be cleaned by a suitable surface disinfection
agent (e. g. Bacillol
or terralin
6 Use
The product requires qualified, individual adjustment to the patient,
according to indication. Adjustment must be done by qualified personnel.
6.1 Use Restrictions
Due to the adjustment and for hygienic reasons, please note that the product
must only be used by the patient the product has been prescribed for.
The product must not be passed to anyone else.
6.2 Useful Life
The duration of use of the present medical device is determined by the attending
physician. The period of use depends on the intended use and the materials used.
Please note that your medical device is subject to natural wear and tear.
Please contact your physician or orthopaedic technician if the usability of the
medical device is no longer given.
