Instructions for the place of assembly
Place the air conditioner on a flat and solid surface. It must not be tilted. Do NOT install the air
conditioner in the following places:
• Close to intense heat sources, vapours and flammable or explosive gases
• In an environment containing chemicals (such as evaporating substances, organic
solvents, etc.)
• As soon as it rains, the air conditioner must be placed away from the window. Keep it
away from rain and moisture.
Take into account the following:
• The air conditioner must always be in an upright position. Never hold it on its side and
never put it upside down.
• The air conditioner must remain upright when you transport or move it. Do not
shake or spill it.
• Make sure that the air inlet is not obstructed and that it ventilates well.
• Do not insert objects into the air inlet and outlet. These objects could hit electrical parts
or the fan, which would be dangerous.
• Never place heavy objects on the device.
• Unplug the air conditioner before moving it, maintaining it, cleaning it or if you are not
using it for a long time.
• Do not pull on the connector to move the air conditioner.
• Clean the air inlet filter at least once a month.
• If you are not using the air conditioner for a long time, store it in a cool, dry place.
Clean it carefully beforehand and let it dry completely.
