Cleaning and maintenance
WARNING !
Unplug the product from the power supply before cleaning or
maintaining it.
1. Exterior
• Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth. Make sure that water and cleaning
products do not enter the air conditioning system. Then carefully dry the air conditioner
with a dry cloth.
• Never clean the air conditioning system with an aggressive cleaning product and/or
petrol.
2. Filters
It is important to clean the filter dust regularly. Remove the filter as shown in the illustration.
Clean the filter with tap water and/or a vacuum cleaner. The water temperature must not
exceed 40°C. Then let the filter dry completely before replacing it. Make sure the filter is
not exposed to sunlight.
Storage
Follow these steps before storing the air conditioner:
1. Remove the air conditioner from the window and unscrew the inner part of the
inner brackets.
2. Remove the rubber stoppers from the inner and outer parts of the air conditioner and
empty the condensation water into a suitable container.
3. Operate the air conditioner in Fan mode to completely dry the inside of the air
conditioner.
4. Then turn off the air conditioner and remove the plug from the electrical outlet.
5. Clean the filter and let it dry completely before reinstalling it.
6. Unscrew all the fixings on the air conditioner. You can then store the air conditioner.
Store it in a cool, dry place. We recommend that you put the air conditioner back in its
packaging in order to avoid the accumulation of dirt and dust on the air conditioner.
