6.8. REPLACING THE GLASS PANE
To replace the glass pane:

Lift the hearth door to remove it from the
hinges.

Lay the door on a flat surface.

Unscrew the eight nuts on the cast iron door
that holds the glass pane.

Remove the cast iron door from the unit.

Replace the glass pane.
6.9. REMOVING THE PLEXUS (AIR CONTROL UNIT)

It is posible to remove the air control unit for
maintenance. This must be carried out by a
qualified technician.

Open the door and remove the
support
ashtray.

Unscrew and remove the control
panel using a screwdriver.

Unscrew the 4 fixing screws from the
air control unit by going through the
holes provided in the cast iron grate
support.

Pull the air control unit out towards
the front.
