DISTANCE METER
To set the reference distance, briefly press the red button (P) in fig. 5a/5b.
On the display it is possible to check the set reference distance, visible in position (R) fig. 5a/5b.
To change the reference range, briefly press the red button (P) in fig. twice. 5a/5b: the reference
range will vary with a sequence of pre-set values (3-4-5-6 cm/ 1.0-1.5-2.0-2.5 inch). On the display
it is possible to check the information on the set range, visible in position (G). On the display it is
also possible to check the real distance (identified on obstacles that appear perpendicular to the
T sensor), visible in position (D) in fig. 5a/5b. The sensor is enabled to detect distances from 4 cm
to 99 cm (1.5-39 inch), starting from the edge of the external protection glass (12). For greater
distances a "+++" will appear in position (D).
In relation to the reference distance (R) and the reference range (G) set, the three LEDs indicate
whether the current distance is within the set range (green LED L on), if you are too close to the
support (red LED LC on) or if you are too far from the support (yellow LU LED on). The distance is
also displayed graphically on the cursor indicator (C).
To change the unit of measurement, press and hold the red button (P) for at least 1 second (from
[cm] to [inch] alternately).
To change the orientation of the display (for left-handed operators), briefly press the red button
(P) three times.
CLEANING
AT EACH USE, check that the sensor (13) and display (14) protection films are not dirty and/or
detached. Replace the films immediately when they are dirty and/or detached. Dirt on the sensor
affects the detection accuracy of the distance sensor!
IT IS FORBIDDEN to soak the 360 TRUE LIGHT EVO METER light, the battery, and spare parts
(rubber adapters and glass) in liquids, such as solvents/cleaning solutions/water, etc.
Immediately at the end of the application, clean the residues/dust deposited only on the surface
parts, before they are catalysed, using NON-ABRASIVE cloths, damp with neutral pH detergent
solutions. Do not use acids, caustic solutions, bases, paint strippers, unsuitable regenerators
or other aggressive detergents. Do not use abrasive products or damp cloths containing acids,
alkaline solutions or petrol.
