1. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This publication contains all the information you need for the use and maintenance of your
4" peripheral submersible pump. To ensure proper functioning and optimal performance of
the pump, it is necessary to comply with these provisions. For further information, please
contact the nearest authorized distributor.
2. GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THESE WARNINGS AND/OR IMPROPER HANDLING OF THE
SUBMERSIBLE PUMP WILL RELEASE PYD ELECTROBOMBAS FROM ANY LIABILITY IN THE
EVENT OF ACCIDENTS TO PERSONS OR DAMAGE TO PROPERTY AND/OR THE PUMP.
Before operating the pump, the user must know how to carry out all the operations
described in this manual and apply them if necessary during the use and maintenance of
the pump.
Peripheral submersible pumps do not pose RESIDUAL RISKS.
Special technical knowledge is not required to use peripheral submersible pumps.
When using peripheral submersible pumps, the person does not need to use additional
protections other than those detailed in this manual.
2.1. PREVENTIVE MEASURES TAKEN BY THE USER
a) The user must strictly comply with the accident prevention regulations in force in their
respective countries.
b) When preparing to repair or maintain the pump, unplug the power cord from the power
outlet and/or switch off the switch (if any), thereby interrupting the electrical supply to the
pump. This prevents the machine from starting accidentally, which could cause harm to
people and/or property.
