OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
SUBMERSIBLE PUMP ONK SERIES
e) The pump does not have check valves, but we advise installing them in the discharge
pipe. These valves prevent damage caused by water hammer, reducing the hydraulic shock
wave resulting from starting and stopping the device.

7. ASSEMBLY AND DISASSEMBLY
(de CEE 89/392 p.1.7.4.a)
The pump does not have separate accessory parts, so there is nothing else to assemble
when installing it. In the event that disassembly is necessary (due to breakage or other
reasons), the user is required to contact the distributor or the technical support service.
FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THIS STANDARD WILL RESULT IN THE CANCELLATION OF
THE WARRANTY.
8. PREPARATION FOR USE
Regarding the 4" peripheral submersible pumps, three-phase model, check the rotation
direction of the motor. The impeller should rotate counterclockwise when looking at the
pump from above.
As the rotation direction of the impeller cannot be visually verified, follow these steps:
before lowering the pump into the well, connect the electrical cables in the electrical panel
and briefly activate the switch. The pump will start with a kickback. If the pump rotates
in the correct direction, the kickback will be clockwise when observed from the top of the
pump. Another way to verify is to see if the pump delivers the established amount of water;
if not, swap two electrical phases to reverse the rotation direction of the device.
