OPERATING AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
SUBMERSIBLE PUMP ONK SERIES
8.1.ELECTRIC CONNECTION
ATTENTION:
a) In order to connect it to the electrical network, the submersible pump is equipped
with a cable that complies with IEC standards, with a length of 10 meters; make the
connection taking into account the installed power, the voltage of the network, and the
number of phases.
b) The network must have an efficient grounding installation according to the electrical
standards existing in the country, which is the responsibility of the installer.
c) The submersible pump will be powered by an electrical panel with a switch, fuses,
and a circuit breaker regulated according to the current absorbed by the pump. The
electrical panel will be made by a qualified technician or can be requested from PYD
ELECTROBOMBAS and will be equipped with an amperometric protection with manual
reset.
d) The three-phase version comes with an electrical cable with yellow/green wire for
grounding; connect the yellow/green wire of the electrical cable to an efficient grounding
point that complies with the electrical standards in the user's country.
e) For both the single-phase and three-phase versions, we recommend installing a
high-sensitivity differential switch (0.03 A) in the electrical installation. The electrical
connection must be carried out by a qualified technician.
9. USE AND START-UP
To start the submersible pump, plug in the plug or turn on the switch. When the water has
been drawn in until reaching the minimum level, unplug it and/or turn off the switch.
10. MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
ATTENTION: MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS MUST BE PERFORMED BY REMOVING THE
PLUG FROM THE SOCKET AND/OR SWITCHING OFF THE SWITCH.
ONLY QUALIFIED TECHNICIANS CAN DISMANTLE THE PUMP. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH
THIS STANDARD WILL RESULT IN THE CANCELLATION OF THE WARRANTY. THE SAME
RULE APPLIES TO REPAIRS AND/OR REPLACEMENTS.
The pump is designed to work with clear and clean water, with power supply variations
within ±5% of the nominal value. Under these conditions, no particular maintenance is
required for the pump. However, it is advisable to periodically check that the flow rates,
pressure, and current absorption levels adhere to the established standards.
