Curb-hop feature
1 Stoptheengine. N ever a djust t hewheels whilethe
engine is running.
2 Setthe indexleveratvertical c utposition to
prevent b ladecontact w iththecurb.Themaximum
height o fa curbshould notexceed 8 inches.
3 Setthe entireedger onthecurb.
4 Inthecorrect p osition, boththerightrearwheel(A)
andthefrontwheel(B)areofftothesideofthe
curbandthe leftrearwheelisonthecurbas
shown in Figure 14.Position t he edger t o allowthe
wheels tobelowered.
5 Loosen the rearwheel k nob(C)to lower theright
rearwheel t othe pavement. Makesuretheedger
is level f romsidetosideandtighten therearwheel
knob.
6 Usethedepthcontrol l ever(D)to lower thefront
wheel t othesetting where thefrontwheel t ouches
thepavement andtheedger is level.
WARNING
• Never adjust the wheels or the blade while the
engine is running.
• While the engine is running, never leave the
unit unattended.
• Keep bystanders away from machine.
