3.1 Material
Padding:
In order to support the perfect fit and the high wearing comfort,
we recommend to use our underwear for spinal orthoses
(Item-No. 145T20 or 145T22, available in the sizes XS-XXXL).
4 Application
4.1 Design and Adjustment Options
The trunk orthosis is supplied ready for fitting. It consists of a frame structure
with movable sternum pad and symphysis pad.
Sternum pad and pelvis bar are adjustable in length by approximately 60 mm.
Loosen the appropriate screws and tighten and secure again after the desired
setting (see Fig. 1).
The two-part sternum pad is adjustable in width by approximately
20 mm. Loosen the appropriate screws and tighten and secure again after
the desired setting (see Fig. 2).
The back part consists of an anatomically shaped Lumbar pad, which is attached
by means of a waist band with a hook- and loop fastener (see Fig. 3).
The two reinforcing hook-and-loop-bars (*) can be fixed into the lumbar pad
to stabilise this area (see Fig. 4).
In addition, there is a jointed connection cranially in the ventral area of the
frame structure, enabling an optimal setting of the sternum pad. Loosen the
appropriate screws and tighten and secure again after the desired setting
(see Fig. 5).
