Pairing
®
1. To pair first unit, press and hold the Bluetooth
(A19) for 4 sec until it flashes blue.
2. Activate Bluetooth
on your phone (or other unit) and
®
select "Local 2" in the list. (See the user instruction for
your phone). If the phone requires a PIN code, enter four
zeros (0000).
3. An audio signal with 2 tones is heard in the headset,
when the pairing is completed. The headset LED flashes
blue and a headset display prompt confirms that a
connection has been established. If pairing fails, switch off
the headset and start the pairing process again.
The pairing link is automatically established with the phone
the next time the headset is switched on.
If you experience issues with pairing, clear the previous
headset in your phones bluetooth menu and reset the
previous paired device list in the headset. In <Bluetooth>
menu <Reset PDL>.
Pairing with a second Bluetooth unit
1. Navigate to <Bluetooth> in the menu and select the
pairing option.
2. Press and hold button (A13>) to enter pairing mode. An
audio signal confirms pairing mode and the first paired
unit is temporarily disconnected during paring with the
second unit.
3. Start the Bluetooth
function on your second unit and

search for and connect to "Local 2". An audio signal
confirm unit 2 is connected. The headset LED flashes
blue and a headset display prompt confirms that a
connection has been established.
Connection with the first paired unit is reestablished
The pairing link is automatically established with the last 2
connected phones the next time the headset is switched on.
Music streaming from a Bluetooth
1. Switch on the headset (see earlier steps).
2. Start the music player on the phone (or other unit).
3. Play/Pause by short pressing on the Bluetooth button.
4. Adjust the volume by pressing the volume buttons UP/
DOWN (A12, A13).
5. Move to the next track by pressing and holding down the
Volume UP button for 2 seconds.
6. Play the song from the beginning by pressing and holding
down the Volume DOWN button for 2 seconds.
7. Move to the previous track by pressing and holding down
the Volume DOWN button for 4 seconds.
Answer/End/Reject call
1. Answer a call by briefly pressing on the Bluetooth button.
2. End a call by briefly pressing the Bluetooth button.
3. To reject a call, press and hold down the Bluetooth button
for 2 seconds.

Voice dial from headset via connected phone
Check the user instruction for your phone to see if it
supports voice dial.
1. Press and hold the Bluetooth button for 3 seconds and
release. An audio signal confirms the function is activated.
2. Speak your voice dial command.
Most phones that support voice-controlled dialing will send
an acknowledgment signal when to speak your voice dial
command.
Broken Bluetooth

If the Bluetooth
link is broken due to exceeding the range
®
(more than 10 meters) the headset will say "bluetooth
connection lost". The headset will auto-connect when back
within range.

Download the app from the App Store or Google Play. Scan
the QR-codes on the back of the user manual.
Level-dependent "Active listening" function
Press the LD button (A15) to switch the level-dependant
function ON. A voice message confirms the function and a
symbol will show on the display home screen. The volume is
adjustable in 5 levels (1, 2, 3, 4, MAX). Adjust the volume by
pressing the LD button until you reach your desired volume
level. The level will be indicated with a voice message and
on the display. Press and hold the LD button to switch the
Level-dependent function OFF. The headset remembers
your last volume setting the next time you switch ON the
headset or the level-dependant function.
For use in windy environments it is recommended to fit the
two included windshields. Remove the peel off film and fit
the windshield perfectly centered over the Level Dependant
microphones (A7).
This hearing protector is provided with level-dependent
attenuation. The wearer should check correct operation
before use. If distortion or failure is detected, the wearer
should refer to the manufacturers advice for maintenance
and charging of the battery. Warning! The output of the
level-dependent circuit of this hearing protector may exceed
the external sound level.
Volume adjustment
When a phone call is active or music streaming is activated
the volume buttons will change the Bluetooth volume. Tones
will indicate when volume min/max has been reached.
When there is an incoming radio call, or no ongoing call or
music streaming the volume buttons will change the radio
volume will be adjusted with 6 different levels selectable
(OFF, 1, 2, 3, 4, MAX). The Radio can be turned OFF by
turning the volume down, press and hold the down button
when on volume level 1. A radio off notification will be heard
with 10 minute intervals. To turn the radio ON increase the
radio volume.
PTT (Push To Talk)
Press and hold the PTT button (A16) to transmit on
the selected radio channel. Release the button to stop
transmitting
Radio channel (frequency)
Se table E:12 for available channels and frequencies. When
two (or more) radios are configured on the same channel,
they can communicate with each other.
Sub channel (selective squelch)
Using sub channels enables multiple groups to use the
same radio channel without disturbing each other. When
activated, transmissions are coded with the sub channel
and only received messages on the same sub channel
will be heard. A unit with sub channel turned OFF will hear
transmissions from all sub channel groups. Sub channel
grouping is achieved with sending units overlaying a tone to
the transmitted audio which receiving units can detect and
open the selective squelch.
See table E:13 for available sub channels and their tone
frequencies.
